Self-proclaimed divine brutes
Tilak topi dadhi burqa
Embellishment to delude
The innocent faith of awam

Stop! And scrutinize
You god-damn god man
Does duplicity have a state
Before God?

Self-Proclaimed Divine Brutes
To all the self proclaimed godman past this world there is a super force where every one of your falsehoods misdirections double-crossings will be gauged and brought to take note. In the interim enjoy the stay at this deceptive world. 🙂

I agree with you ma'am learn good things but be eise enough to distinguish bad and good. We are educated not literate so accept the good things and challenge the shackles. This is my understanding of religion.

Godmen and women happen in all colours and guises. Their only aim is to gain money and power, posing as demigods, exploiting the ignorant people. The agony and anguish at this is well -brought out in very little words. Very pertinent social issue.

Very powerful commentary on the current situation in our country given the politically charged orientation. I can understand the exasperation of poet being a peace-loving citizen. Thanks a lot.
