A big Angus cow
On a wide grassy pasture
Bonds with her twin calves.

Mother nature! ! ! Teaching us the truth. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A great haiku of soothing, serene calm that stills my soul and all readers alike. With heart-felt images of a mother's love on display here good Rose Marie. A little oasis of pure calm after a demanding day.10++ and added to my tranquillity chest. Thank you Rose Marie for writing and sharing this gem.
Motherly love, so beautifully and simply addressed. Poetry at its best.. Thanks for this joy, dear Poetess.
A mother is a mother, cow or human... Human mother may have some expectations... not cow...motherhood and love in its purest form... This poem evokes so many emotions... missed earlier....
The word wide is eye-catching. It provides great depth to the poem essence. Nice write 10+
You have painted a lovely scene, so calming and delightful! It is a common sight in villages! In grassy meadows and hill slopes or in plantations where grass and thickets grow, we can see cows grazing. Here is a cow that has given birth to twin calves and she is licking and fondling those cute calves. A lovely haiku!
