The School Principal
Walks along the corridor
Her stilleto shoes
Sound click-clack, click-clack, click -clack
Echoing in the classrooms.

And get alarm of his arrival and become as if the most innocents ever present.
' click-clack, click-clack, click -clack'...this expression reminds each one of his/her school days...5*****
Beautiful poem! I went back into my days in school! A poetic image so realistic!
A snapshot that is both realistic and poetic, containing a striking contradiction: the sound of clogs, the process and the act of studying all blend together. In this way, the poet adorns her imagery with metaphors drawn from reality.
For me as I think of the click-clack of shoes, I think of a school function in the gymnasium or a women in high heels passing by in a hall.
What a great and descriptive piece! It sounds like Dolores Umbridge!

Tremendous verse, Rose Marie. I can see the silent children in their seats and the only sound....
