To Aitzaz Hasan!
O Brave Son,
of every mother
of your town now!
Hats off to your parents
now feeling proud
For their joyous grief
all heads bow
From your skies you
blew up the evil cloud
Salutes to the soil
that engendered you
Made you grown up
and nurtured you
You proved true
To your mother’s milk
That was running as a river
In your youthful veins
Worthy of life
You fought with death
In a deadly duel
Though it stared at you
As a glaring truth
You killed it
By the sword of youth
It came in stealth
For lives to trace
And died itself
In your tight embrace
To save your life
You did not think
And tasted death
As a honeyed drink
The false hopes
Of evil you drowned
By God in Heaven
You will be crowned
To keep the smiles
Of your vale alive
You dared to afford
The tears in your mother’s eyes
And made your course
straight to the Paradise!
Aitzaz a student of class IX sacrificed his life on January 6,2014 when he prevented a suicide bomber from entering the premises of his school during the morning assembly. Aitzaz's brave act resulted in the lives of several students being saved.
The brave student was on his way to school when he spotted a suspicious person. In an effort to stop the attacker, he ran towards the person prompting the suicide bomber to detonate his explosive laden vest.The civil Order of Bravery SITARA E SHUJAAT is announced for him.
We all read about him and were expecting a poem from you Shahziaji. Living Malacca and Eternal Aitzaz Hasan are your/our prides and we all salute them again and again.
Bravo! ! This young hero's act has brought goose bumps to me. Aitzas.. the young chap of great grit and guts could save a hundred lives.... What more is to be done in such a short life span! !
a nice tribute comes from deep emotions. but this poem is more than a tribute. Aitzaz the super hero. A heroic act by a lad. His life is served, in the best deed. Solute.
our nation today is deprived of such people who come forward and show their presence of mind...this particular story is really saddenning as the kid had to forsake his life, though in return hundreds of other lives were saved. A big salute to Aitzaz, words and praises are not enought for his bravery.

A Salute to the Brave, young Hero, who laid down his life to fight terrorism. He is the pride of the country and to his parents. Thank you Shahzia for sharing with us this lovely tribute.
My condolences to Aitazaz's family, really he was a brave guy, terrorism in all its form without any distinction should be denounced.
This young man is in the truest sense of the word a 'Hero' Thank you for bringing him to our attention Shahzia.
