Total Volantly Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Total Volantly

Rating: 5.0

I went for a walk this morning
total volantly

plan to pick flowers in my backyard
no one forced me

there are so many flowers now
spring is just over

almost in the middle of summer,
oh so many beautiful shades in red

total volantly
they viewed not bad

and the fragrance, ah so unique
their tiny movements, so rhythmique

you can see
they are also in huge glee
with my visit to them,

total volantly

almost all flowers greet me and try their best
you notice that in the way they swing with the wind

total volantly

the homy birds seem to enjoy too,
I notice that from their singing

so parmantly
and total volantly

I asked the adorning red rose to come home with me,
she smiled seductively
but shook powerfully no

I went to the weaky asters,
but they hang so bad already,

then the beautiful jasmine
still so happy and fresh
and what a lovely scent,
she's doing her utmost best

I can see her frivolous bend
her pretty sweet scent
to the distant neighbours' land

I already understand
why most flowers don't want to be picked?
they are not accustomed to that gesture
picking flowers just for pleasure
since I 've never done that before

I went for a walk this morning

total volantly

no flowers picking
but heard my homy birds singing
at their best

so no flowers plucked in my backyard

their several lovely colours,
nodding in the breeze,

they grow in my backyard
in full colours and scents
that's my true greatest reward

A beautiful photograph of a pink rose in your garden, but I am not familiar with the word 'volantly' and cannot find it in the dictionary. What does it mean?

Many spring flowers motivate and all stars bloom. Morning walk has given wonder feelings. In the middle of the summer, spring season is captured nicely. An excellent poem is well penned.

Very true words Sylvia. Indeed life full of flowers makes it look better. Flowers are best in their garden not in flowervase to crumble snd die. Well penned.
