No skies fall
No oceans dry
The sun shines no less bright
The wind forgets not its trail
The moon, on its course, sails
But when a good man dies
The world is not the same.

You aptly said, If we look to the creation of the world although it may look and remain same to everybody else since SUN, MOON, STARS, DAY and NIGHT all are following a set pattern yet when it come to the LIFE and HUMANS - when a good soul departs the world for those who lived with him and around him and looked up to him will not be the same.......A true tribute to a man who lived his life to serve the poor, oppressed, underprivileged and old aged people....MAY ALLAH REWARD HIM SUITABLY...Ameen.10++++

Hi Nosheen, First and foremost, Your poem is the best tribute to the departed soul. As Edmund has asked, Nosheen, how can the world be the same, after she loses a good human being? The world has become less livable, because it is the good men who lived here, like Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Albert Einstein, Socrates, and of course, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. We are lucky that we live after them and inherited the world after them in a livable condition. Thank you Nosheen for reminding us about all the good people, who spent their life for others, for the world, so that we enjoy our lives better.

So very true, Nosheen. I just read Akhtar Jawad's poem and his notes. I learned a lot about this man, and you are right, the world is now lesser

How can the world be the same? When the presence of good and the ripple effect of all he is ends is gone. The deeds we do, the impressions we leave touch so many lives. The very fact that the world still turns the same and yet you were touched enough to pen this heartfelt message reveals the power of good in a human. and still.... The moon, on its course, sails.
