GREED
Nature’s bowl so full
Yet with an avarice to hoard,
Marauding waves beat upon the shores!
MAYHEM
Economy draining, prices soaring
Crimes rising, Nature roaring
Life searing, Rulers snoring!
I think it is endemic the whole world over. Governments tax the poor and let the rich hoard their wealth. Good poem Valsa.
How rightly have you added your notes to the self speaking couplets! We are on the verge of utter devastation of all kinds As the mother of tragedies has no concern for anyone. Your twin triplets have enough potential to tell about things beyond the sub continent, Madam Valsa.
Timely reminder about priorities. Time to act. Powerful words logically put.
And sadly many places in the world. An evocative poem, an axiom og truth.
A clear picture of calamity, economic draining and the ruling of the Govt. have been astutely delineated. A beautiful poem so nicely executed.
Natural calamities like floods and landslides on one side and escalating poverty and misery on the other! But the Govt.machinery, so inactive! This is the present state of affairs in many states of India! ! What do you say about the Ruler of the rulers?
but we will still endure as long as our thoughts are pure thanks Valsa.10
