Unencumbered Poem by Cowboy Ron Williams

Unencumbered

Rating: 5.0

I've got no place to go;
I have no things to do.
Before your chores are done,
my 'jobs' will all be through.

I answer to no man;
I am my own sweet boss.
If I should feel the urge,
I hop upon my hoss

and ride out through the hills
to sniff that sweet pine smell
and feel with all my heart
that things are going well.

I hear you, Cowboy! I'm much the same way, except I don't have a horse! Retirement is great, isn't it? Great poem. Five stars!
