Unfulfilled Love
I dream of her, and rightly so;
she causes my old blood to flow
and makes my heart beat very fast;
my love for her will always last.
She doesn't know just how I feel,
but I know that my love is real.
We'll never kiss, and this is why:
I cannot tell her; I'm too shy!

This is not a ‘Love at First Sight' poem, Sylvia. This is a ‘I have Loved You Forever But Am Too Shy to Tell You' poem.
Also, Sylvia, you are misinformed as to the marital status of the person you mentioned. She is NOT married, as her husband passed away last year. Or was it earlier this year? Anyway, she is now single.
What after comes this line, 'but I know that my love is real'...is wonderful.
