With Malice Towards None! Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

With Malice Towards None!

Rating: 5.0

All poets cannot imagine
themselves Shakespearean,
all humans- themselves more divine!

How to live loving within
the sacred doctrine
of ‘malice towards none
is a never-ending
probing phenomenon-
we are all humans

To err is always human
and to forgive is Divine alone!
homo sapiens and aliens-
they are only our minds within

To err is always human And to forgive is Divine alone! .....we reap what we sow....having trust in that one will not err back revenging but will forgive in silence....that is genuine, even godly...isn't it...? Thanks for your kind comment and suggestion...I shall have it in mind to do in the near future...at present I intend to do a study on Aurobindo's Savitri which is extremely difficult for me...anyway it's a nice challenge....thanks a lot many times Kesav

If we do not forgive, we live with wrong committed. To forgive means we unattach and forget the wrong. This however does not mean we condone the sin. To be inflicted with hate means we are still being damaged by the wrong. For some this can be a lifetime. Nations can learn from this poem too, then perhaps they will find they have no need to go to war. Excellent poem. Regards Bob

Human beings can never be perfect but we can try to not hurt others. Karma works things out if we care to monitor it. Interesting philosophical poem Kesav. love Karin
