A Field Of Sadness
Filled with beauty
Yet storing emotion
Forever moving on
Ignoring the sadness
The sadness trapped
In a bottle
For a lifetime
In life's journey
Past
Present
Now stalling
For there is time
To truly live
Yet
Still holding back
Is there a way...
........
To not swallow
Everyone's heartache

Beautiful and very emotional poem, you've managed to capture where my life is at the moment.
To not to not swallow everyone's heartache.......some time it touches like no other emotion! Beautiful poem.
An emotional poem in sad musing. Your poetic talent ought to cheer. Keep writing pal. Great metaphor used. We all have dejection in life ah. Thumbs up. So Nice to read from your pen again,
sorry, i'm not quite 'getting it'. : ( i would not relish swallowing anyone's heartache! ! ! if i did, i might get heartburn in return, for real! ! sounds like a 'downer' poem. bri : l smile! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Poignant and wistful. Artfully rendered with an air of haunting, painful mystery. Well done, good colleague.
I like the mood setting of your poem that sound consistant and so expressive...along with that nice photo, it blends well...A field of sadness, i hope you will be harvesting happiness again soon, we all in cycle of happy-sad-joy, gloomy-etc...i know its hard to always be strong...be if we could find reason to be one, use it....so we will never destroyed by its ugliness, instead to claim its other side, beauty! lets try...
A field of sadness.............. Filled with beauty. Razed to the ground, yet trying its damnest to regenerate. It is what nature does. It is what man must also do, sadly. The tragedies and heartaches in life are mostly (mad) man made. A thoughtful and deeply sensitive piece, cleverly written.
Those first two lines are so ubiquitous. The paradox of life. So much tragic wonder, so much terrible beauty...in everything, everywhere. Moving indeed.
