[This is my Italian translation of a poem by Pavol Janik - check his page for the original text - see below]
.
''Vivace Ma Non Soltanto Così''
A piedi nudi
salti da stella a stella.
E ogni volta c'è un rintocco armonioso
come un bacio fra bicchieri di cristallo.
A migliaia i tuoi volti
pattinano con costanza
su stagni ghiacciati.
Ti apro con chiave di violino
e cerco l'arco
la cui elasticità riesca ad eguagliarti.
Ma nel tuo profondo
invece delle corde
pizzico lacrime.

VIVACE MA NON SOLTANTO COSI - Poem by Pavol Janik
[English text]
Barefoot
you leap from star to star.
And each time there's a chime
like the kiss of crystal glasses.
Thousands of your faces
skate with perseverance
on frozen ponds.
I open you with a violin's clef
and seek the bow
whose elasticity can equal you.
Deep in you
instead of strings
I've touched tears.

a note for the readers: I've translated into my language - Italian- the ENGLISH text of Pavol Janik's poem, not his original text. The poem was written in Janik's native language, that is SLOVAK... but unfortunately, I don't speak that language.. Grazie a tutti - Thanks to all the readers! Fabrizio
