Poetry,
A very personal matter,
That cannot be taught,
That cannot be bought,
Resists materialism,
But Is,
The richness of all thought.
Very true. I tried to submit all forms, but they keep adding more forms. Way too many to think about. Now I just write what comes to mind.
In an age of crazy materialism we had forgotten what was once held more valuable (and will always be more valuable) than anything money can buy - love and relationships among people.. We are all turning into charlatans and crazy people running after money and material posessions while forgetting to cherish moments of tenderness, love, and affection.. Hatred and cynicism only prevails nowadays... But we should still be hopeful. Life gives us many chances to live it like human beings rather than robots.. Thank you for sharing Sandra. May we all stop running after things that would mean almost nothing and live our lives as a celebration of human emotions, through our gestures, words, and of course art...
since all creation comes from thought thought may become our materialism, poetically speaking, muttering that is Ignore me A lovely poem you've written!
You've summed up the plight of the world very beautifully in a few words. Ten to you!
Oh, it can be taught, but I get your point- -if you don't have anything interesting to say, you're dead in the water. You, on the other hand, managed to write something interesting indeed, and poetic, too.
Very true Sandra. Yes it is very personal in deed but I do agree with my friend David that some times they make it so personal with so much bent and turns that ultimately that poetry is understood by the writer only. I don't know what it begets at last! ! ! ! ! Thanks for sharing
