Big Girls Don't Cry Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Big Girls Don't Cry

Rating: 4.9

What's that Frankie Valli song?
The one about the eyes
Every time, I hear it
I think of you
Then, tears swell up
So, I don't listen to it often
I guess I am too emotional; I cry on a dime
Especially, to a sappy love song
From the Sixites
They knew how to write a tune,
Back in those days
But I wish to waltz to it
With you
Maybe, one day.

Some songs like poetry speak for us and can find ourselves in that song.Though I have not heard Frankie Valli's songs, I can appreciate them through your poem.
