Carnival Life Poem by Silentpoet Grl

Carnival Life

twisted scenes, broken pictures
tumbling kaleidoscope dreams
tormentingly replay thoughts
twirling haunted carousel rides
tilt-o-whirls spinning colorfully
tearing chaotic cruel mind games
blood stained mirrors taunting
thrashing at reopened wounds
cackling fun house promises
telling crystal ball fortunes
reek of putrid failure, tiredly
tucking in, humming lullabies
drifting back to nightmareland
its time for a treacherous spin
ticket punched, ready for the ride
take hold, its a twisted carnival life

Hey, I just wanted you to know I miss you pal. I know your ok, regardless.. I miss the old days, this sight is overrun with douchebags no longer the beauty of silent poet girls, and good people, artists, and writers that write with the passion of the day. Maybe it's just so different without your writings though full of pain, your words were always kind. You were my best buddy on here. And maybe I should have told you that. Anyway I'm not real good at this kind of stuff, great at writing in coded mystery not so as the tear in the eye kind. I'll see you someday :)

you showed the carnival side of living quite well... sometimes we wonder if there's meaning, and others we know that there is more!

Sometimes the best ride is to not take the ride at all... But hey! If you wish to take the ride, I'm here when you get off...
