Children Song
(dedicated to Ms. Hilary Hahn, a great violinist)
beloved butterfly
fly around, fly
never leave sky
cherish me, thee
beloved firefly
fly high, fly
shine the sky
beautify me, thee
beloved teddy
walk around, walk
refresh your thirsty
find fish and talk
beloved twinkle star
jump high, jump
you are not so far
but look like a thumb
if we can be just a little
little speech, little act
maybe we can react
when little demons giggle
(inspired by Camille Pissarro's The Garden of Pontoise)
