Dear Flower On The Concrete, Poem by Unwritten Soul

Dear Flower On The Concrete,

Rating: 4.8

Dear flower,
You werent wrong when you decided to grow on this concrete,
Your destiny wasnt wrong when it wrote your home to be here.
Your existence may tell to many wanderers in this city
There are hopes everywhere even things are unlikely can happen
Like how u survive here.

Dear flower on the concrete,
Though you've missed spring water at the hill
You're lucky to survive somewhere in the crack
Not many can do that
And you steal all the spotlight
The only bloom on the concrete

Also,
To all eyes who spell my words in mind,
No matter who, where and what you're having now,
There is beauty in it, clichè is it?
But i do know
As this flower may wondering why it was there
You might questioned yours
Too many questions but too little to ponder
We forget to be grateful
But trust me,
You are not in the wrong place
Except you refuse to believe.
So take care as life is whatever you believe.

Sincerly yours,
Soul

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was scrolling old photos in my phone while this photo come cross. And it feels like I have to say something about this photo. This is not a poetry like people looking for, far from fine one... But i do hope someone can find comfort and get the essence of this. Accept your life, embrace it... U will grow beautifully.

Wow so well thought, Last year while I was waiting with my wife at one clinic for our turn, I was looking at one of the busiest street down from the second floor, the building was opposite to the Income Tax building and I saw a tiny banyan tree with two branches of 1 and two feet growing between the concrete balcony. I was wondering from where it takes water though getting enough sunlight and how the roots must be feeling. cont..

Your poem reminded me the first hand experience I had watching it grow where I could barely imagine. A thoughtful poem after a long gap. Loved it my dear unwritten Soul.100****

Hi Soul. Yes almost as always, Your poem brings positivity and creates a soothing layer of freshness around... around the living ones on concrete but for those who can read.

Terrific, Soul...I am reminded that we all have a time, a place, and perhaps a purpose. Those elements may seem strange or difficult for some, but sometimes the stark contrasts remind of the real beauty to the reality. A great verse, Soul!
