Earth Status
(IT TOOK ME DAYS FOR ME TO FORMULATE THE TITLE)
(I HOPE BOTH TITLE AND CONTENT IS GOOD)
Earth used to be an immortal garden
Where the butterflies are everywhere seen.
But it was swarmed by locusts sent by men,
Now it’s a place you cannot imagine.
Through the riverbanks, waters used to flow
And air was given freely to fishes.
But things changed because maybe tomorrow
Dead fishes will be scattered in places.
Trees are being cut off for one’s business.
Nature is being damaged brutally.
A planet once filled of great resources
Is now kissing the future painfully.
Earth as we know it shall come to an end
If we will not make actions that are wise.
O let this planet count you as its friend,
Make it a picture you will not despise.

Its high time we stop abusing 'Mother Earth' else she will let loose her fury in the form of natural disasters. Very well written.

Yes more of us should be writing on this theme. I did a few also, one on 'Illegal logging' in Indonesia a few months back. More needed.
