Freedom - Poem by Anna Dietze

Sitting here on this bridge
Blue sky
White cotton-candy clouds
Watching the river flow freely
Sparkling in the sun
Trickling over rocks and pebbles
What I see is peaceful freedom
Where life can’t be disturbed
Out in the open
Birds singing
Fish swimming in their schools
Ducklings all in a line
Trying to visualize might be hard
Seeing all this and one thing comes to mind
Freedom
