With the fall of night
Hidden homes toss coins of light
On beggared lone paths

It does happen.. I had this whole 'flaneur' period in my life when I used to go out for a walk after 23: 00 to just see the night life.. The dark streets get lighted with a few working street lamps, and for the rest there would be light coming from the small lamps, often colured in blue or green, lit up at balconies.. A beautiful one Valsa ma'am.. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Souren for teaching me a new word- 'flaneur'! How we learn from others! Thanks for your sweet comment too!

Though I do not have much idea about Haiku your choice of words and expression make great poem.
