Haiku Series- Summer Rain Poem by Valsa George

Haiku Series- Summer Rain

Rating: 5.0

Dark clouds gather round
They rush and collide in the sky
Igniting fireworks

Wisps of rain dripping
Dry land sucks it greedily
Belch of steam rises

Plants stand in despair
Like little children in bath,
Forbidden to splash

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

Three stages of how rain is created, how it drops, and its effect on the ground are beautifully presented in a trio of haikus. Enjoyed the sequel.
