Insanity! Poem by Aarzoo Mehek

Insanity!

Rating: 5.0

On the brink of insanity,
Open the doors now!
I've been knocking at them,
Finding ways and reasons.
Free my soul, free my spirit,
From these games of sophistry.

These games of sophistry are the ones that keep us from being honest or understanding ourselves.. I have been on the verge of being insane so many a times that I agreed that I am insane now.. Yet insanity is subjective.. The ones without the 'bold souls' always call others 'insane'.. Thanks for sharing Arzoo. A short but deep poem..

There comes a point when we feel stuck in the web of lies and mind games people play, they push us to the brink of nothingness. Finding an exit and winning the game is the only option left, either fight or surrender to the whims of manipulative minds.

Brink of insanity thinks and sees spirit knocking at the door of imagination and truth. Games of sophistry talks about many aspects of life here and this poem is very wisely penned definitely. Interesting and wise sharing.10

Sometimes we want desperately to bare ourselves naked. How long can one cover up in all 'manufactured' drapes! We cannot afford to deceive ourselves for long! A pithy write that has compressed a lot of meaning! A 10

My dear friend, Souren speaks for me as well. Often, it feels like a fine line that I am straddling. A very deep and perceptive poem, Aarzoo
