Laying Broken Pieces
like a rope tight around the throat
leaves you gasping for more air
these dark secrets are choking,
tormenting me with such despair.
hidden, gut wrenching memories,
like acid burning everything inside
begging for all this pain to subside.
in a desperate plea, screaming out
releasing every broken piece of me,
like a thunderstorm comes with rain
shattered pieces descend from the skies
falling to the ground where forever they lay
I like it. Reminds me of me a bit, and yet, at the same time, I don't know what it means (just as I don't know what 'I' mean) . If that makes sense.
