My head, a steaming kettle
Thoughts bleed like ink from a pen
But are muddled up and messy
They do not have a neat flow
They come out in squirts
Leaving a spreading scarlet stain,
With a monochrome of sadness
Still I feel an instant relief
As the latch of a cage being unfastened
To let out the birds of pain fly far
Must be the weather, either too hot or too cold Here it's hot and dry and the mind is on hold Don't worry Valsa, things can only get better Thanks
Birds of pain must fly far and away. Enjoyed the beauty of expression. Thank you.
Another marvel of a poem Valsa. The imagery of freed birds of pain is simply awesome. That's the kind of relief we all need. Let the thoughts go free rather than bottled up inside. Lovely write!
Wonderful metaphorical write with compelling imagery. Our mind can do many things and if we are burdened with so much thinking we have to unload to gain relief and invite good vibes. A great poem so well conveyed.
Still I feel an instant relief As the latch of a cage being unfastened To let out the birds of pain fly far . Yes its a matter of relief when our thoughts come out as poems
Leaving a spreading scarlet stain, With a monochrome of sadness Lovely lines dear Valsa. Indeed poetic release is of excellent therapeutic benefit. What would we do without our beloved poetry!
Beautiful metaphor. Such vivid imagery. This imagery during meditation will bring great relief. Thank you so much, Valsa!

The mind can get overwhelming, especially when under stress. A moment's control to free yourself from the unwanted thoughts can be all it takes to regain composure.
