Limerick R11 Fruits Poem by Rajnish Manga

Limerick R11 Fruits

Rating: 5.0

I have a liking for all kinds of fruits
Whatever the season to me it suits

With prices soaring high,
My head asks mind ‘why?

The poor should stick to their roots'.

You like fruits and eat in all seasons but increasing price makes you to think of poor, a regard for all.

Fruit prices should not be high. Fruit is quite cheap in New Zealand, although about the only one I like is bananas. Very thought-provoking poem.

Thanks for sharing your views about the pricing and availability of fruits so that it reaches every household. I, too, like bananas but no more consumption on health grounds.

Great limerick, sadly healthy food is increasingly becoming out of reach for the poorest across the world.
