Limerick: The Bank Robber
There was once a sly robber named Lyle
Who, after robbing a bank in style,
Sawed the legs off his bed
And then solemnly said:
I just want to lie low for a while.
Thanks, Wes. You are my hero and my inspiration. Sorry I did not respond while you were still active on this website. I miss you, buddy.

You just might succeed in turning me into a lover of limericks [not an easy task]! I loved the smoooooth rhythm and rhyme of this piece and the great big laugh that last line gave me! ! You get a galaxy of stars for this! ! ! Now I think I'll take a look at another limerick from you! 10
