Love Note 98 - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Oh sweet lady beautiful
thoughts of you glimmer,
shimmer, and shine within
my mind and I'm smiling.
Listening to beautiful music,
as I sing along tears almost
start to run from my eyes,
not from sadness but the joy
and love I feel for you
coming through the music
to me with intense emotion
that fills my heart and soul,
with all the love and
admiration I have for you,
overwhelming me in a magnificent way.

I decided to wait and rest,
I've stayed up so long
and I would give up all sleep
to write for you and
do anything else you want and need,
you're my Angel and I adore you
deeply in earth shattering ways.
I'm there with you in spirit now
holding you so very close.
I'm always with you giving all
my warmth, love, strength, and peace.
I'm your man and protector,
I'm always watching out for
you in any way I can no matter how far.
You're never alone sweet one because
I won't make you take the world on
all alone when I love you truly in every way.
You're not alone.

Have a beautiful day fair lady
and if you start feeling sad
close your eyes and see me smiling at you
with the look in my eyes I always gave.
You know the one I mean.
If feeling lonely or sad reach
out your hand and grab mine
because you know it's there.
I'll be thinking of and praying
for you to be happy and have no pain.
I love you so much my darling one,
we will celebrate our love
on a day not so far away
and then forever be together side by side
no longer ever facing the fear or
pain of being apart.
