Nostalgia!
As the sun sets in the far horizon
My heart dips in sad mourning
As darkness sets and silence follows
My heart sinks into the deep gallows
Sorrow knock at my heart's door
Bringing back all the memories
The good times we shared together
Lingers on my mind forever
And my heart become nostalgic
Suddenly the realization dawns on my senses
And the pangs of loneliness hits my existence
And once again my heart dips
Into the sea of sorrowful depression
As the time ticks and loneliness seeps
I cling to the faith as I wait for a new dawn
Because I know after every teary night
There is always a new twilight
That gives me new hope and light.

I stopped at the greek name of the title 'nostalgia' which is to be found in the first greek epics of the 8th,7th cent. b.datum.==pain for coming back home.//I liked the poem, nicely depicted the feelings.

when the sun sets one day of our life sets when the sun rise a chance to start a brand new life rise.. a very nice poem...liked it...thank you for sharing :)
