Nothing is left behind in dying,
Save the things one can do without-
The best of the World is made better
And it is possible to arrive somewhere...
Bonds of love are never severed
But realized forever in the parting,
It, alone, travels
With the weary passenger
Over the sound of air
And across the whispers...

A marvellous write up having tremendous depth. It reminded me a saying coming from Hindu mythology that stresses that one an individual is dead, the whole universe is doomed (for the departed) . I like your poems as well as appreciation of others' works.
Awh! This is so beautiful and something I wholly believe. Love never dies as our body does but keeps on living forever and ever... Lenore Lee from Sydney, Australia
Imprints upon the soul last for all eternity, echo's of past life's lived haunting us in our world of dreams... Very nice poem... Peace and love always...
i look though some work, and see many well crafted pieces. but sometimes people forget that writing isnt just to put and intricate set of words upon paper, but to connect those words to them selves, and there is a piece of you in this well crafted piece

Let me say that nothing of importance is left behind beyond death. As we make passage I can only hope that the knowledge and love follow suit, And that greed and fame stay right here. Forever in my heart you will never be dear. With promise to grave let its meaning be sincere. Great poem, thought I express a little of my own thoughts on this subject.
