Poem Hunter Is The Best - Poem by Linda Bella Wassermeister

This place is wonderful; I love it so!
It's here I've learned to come out of my shell.
Before I dragged along; progress was slow,
but I have sprouted, and am doing well.

Five hundred pounds of weight is hard to hide,
so I won't try to hide it anymore,
and all of me is in it for the ride;
no changing names and places as before.

My friends here far outnumber any foes;
this web site has become my second home,
and good times far outnumber any woes;
I love it here and never want to roam.

I'm feeling good; the future's looking bright;
I hope that I can always choose the right!

Topic(s) of this poem: optimism

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I said that my friends here far outnumber any foes. I don't really have any foes that I know of. If I have ever offended anyone, it was certainly unintentional. I love all members of Poem Hunter that I have come in contact with, and some of you are truly near and dear to me.

Thank you, Poem Hunter, for allowing me to grow and develop my simple talents. This web site has helped me immensely. Thanks again!
