Rescue Me (C) 3-7-09 Poem by Zahir Kijani

In this world every kiss begins with Kay and every heart ends with ache
I guess I ignored the sign and that’s where I made the big mistake
Terrible things has happened in my life these long and harmful days
It’s sad because I never realize at anytime I can die in so many ways
And in my life I witness my anxiety and announce it as it’s desperate host
Sad thing is in the dreams when I die are the ones I long for the most
It’s love as a teenage male that has my mind clouded like a Cumulus Nimbus
And I try to exonerate myself but it’s more futile than a tumor’s forgiveness
Or cancer repairing itself after the death of it’s undeserving beholder
And sendin life back to the lesser means though the being's life is still over
My mind has been saturated in insanity, from hatred, sorrow, and possible vanity
And I hate to be so candid see but it’s my surrounding troubles that’s demandin me
I’m trapped in a million piece jigsaw and I lost nine hundred and ninety nine pieces
And I can either go insane tryin to find them or just let go as goes my thesis
I can’t concentrate as I’m circling around in my head from my simple torn ado
That’s excitement over how maybe life can gather meaning soon like a foreigner too
And I scorn her too for putting me in the battle known to man as simple existence
That’s why I put up this chest guard lightened leg armor and my state of mind resistance
That’s why I storm around with a frown hoping maybe one someone’ll come and I’ll be found
That’s why my head is still in the south position with close ears so that I’m resistant to sound
I look to the opposite sex thinking maybe from them I could get freedom that my heart takes
But instead of finding love I’m entrapped in the depressed state known to man as heartache
Unfortunately there’s a great chance that very soon I wont be here due to the things I’ve felt
But there’s a chance that I’ll live forever but that’s only if someone rescues me from myself
