Sandwich Poem by Rini Shibu

Sandwich

Rating: 5.0

Sandwiched between words
I tasted the creamy pain
You say these are flavors of life
But it pierced my heart like knife
You added a little sause of love
And sprinkled freshly ground pepper
You say its hot and sweet stir
But it filled my eyes with tears

Sometimes life and circumstances serves us some unsavory dishes that we are forced to swallow. A very original, well written and touching work. All falls into place. Your poetic sandwich, a success.
