She's Married - Poem by Vikram G. Aarella

The girl with dark and beautiful hair,
Her eyes are lovely and her skin fair.
She is like a full bloomed flower
With beauty, I can’t bear

I want to be her lover,
I will die for her, I swear.
But alas, my friend, my dear
She's married and it’s her husband that I fear.

Very well written. Alas! It seems that all the good people are married! (Report) Reply

Comical, but altogether a little too true.
Married, engaged, seeing another... it's all the same.
The woman or man of your dreams right there in your grasp, yet infinitely out of reach.
    Wonderful. 10.

Come- join the gang, a million more have made it their passtime!
To this, What is it so new that you bring?
Chasing skirts, priests of flesh & skin
How do you separate yourself from them &hope to win?
