Sick From The Starbucks Girl Poem by Practicing Poetess

Sick From The Starbucks Girl

Rating: 4.9

I hope I don't become sick
From the Starbucks girl
She had a fever- -coughing, sneezing
And a burning in her chest
Why she showed up for work today
Is anybody's guess!
She handled everything I touched
I'm worried, I confess!
The more I think about it,
Feels like I'm gonna hurl!
Guess I'll go home and get some rest,
So should the Starbucks girl.

maybe she needed money to buy her meds, rather than someone finding her dead

Gosh Louis, I don't think she was THAT sick! (Or, I hope not, anyway!) : -)

Great verse, Poetess. A copy of this should be posted under every 'employee of the month' photo.

Heehee Mj; LOVE it! : -) The moral of this poem is: Don't come to work if you're ill. You could pass it on to your customers! (And yes, I am sniffling a little now, and sneezing.) Ah-choo!
