The Chase Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Chase

Rating: 5.0

No rainforest can hold me
No desert can leave me thristy
As I look for you
Where are you, love?
When will you save me with a kiss?
Let me gaze into the night's sky
And see yr face
Holding me like no other
As I am frightened that I quiver
The cold cannot stop me looking for you
For I crave yr kiss as it ceases my heart
From beating

Masterfully written poem of love obsessed. Empathizing with the poetess, the reader's heart skips a beat.

A sterling love poem that describes an insatiable longing. What is love without the aches of longing? Kudos!
