The Words I Float Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

The Words I Float

She gave a rose- a hope,
a sign of silent prose
unspoken words I find
inside my heart arose
more than my woes,
I owe her my disturbed heart
I add no hues, no shades
these words, tonight I float

I walk along this beach
the sand under my feet beckons,
offers repose, invites
to write her name across

Tides may come and go,
the sand may stay or not
I hold her name across
the shores along my heart

No waves inside would wash
this beach- ever intact!

I've watched my words get washed away in the sand but they're not gone either! *****
