Wonderful Tree!
White Willow!
Winter tree of snow,
Withering down like a
White laced curtain!
Who said she is a weeping willow?
Weary, tired like a drooping pillow,
With long leaves of alternate spiral clips,
Wide serrate margins and acuminate tips: A
Wholesome tree of yellow-brown shoots and buds!
Willows are not crying osiers,
Weeping and shedding tears! They are
Windy trees, that can bend down with humility, to pray,
Wonder struck at God's fantastic magnanimity,
Wintry nature and glory of God's intimacy!
A wonderful tree, to me it appeared an old man offering prayers. A lovely poem.
