If we could all listen for the truth behind the ego, then act on that alone, the anxiety and fear in our world, would surely disappear. A thoughtful write.

I think nearly everyone who reads this fine poem, samanyan, can relate to it. It seems we all pray to what we percieve of as our God, reciting time worn prayers which say, as your poem pointed out, nothing of our self or our feelings towards whatever God we pray to. Paraman (God) is inside one's heart. One should look for Him inward and not outward.
