Where we have to go,
Where have we to live?
Where shall we find peace,
Missing now we are something.
Missing someone is beloved,
We are missing every moment,
Matters and illusion here,
These have captured us tightly.
We are seeing birth and death,
Staying inside family and society,
Still each one of us is alone,
This is wonderful earth rarely.
Seeing many persons are busy,
We remain in busy gaining wealth,
Although we enjoy these in life,
Time pulls thread and we leave.
Death makes all equal that is seen,
Having no interest to leave but
Soul leaves body and wealth gained,
Helpless soul wanders alone in path.
Where have we to go? Own action tells,
Lonely path opens wings to hold us,
Only God is truth and we trust light,
Without light we cannot have journey.
Having unknown and unseen journey,
We proceed, not as per our will,
No one likes pain of birth and death,
Karma binds and nature decides these.

Death makes all equal that is seen, Having no interest to leave but Soul leaves body and wealth gained, Helpless soul wanders alone in path. Augustine of Hippo's teaching includes that some have been condemned to death, others have been predestined to life. It is about the fate of the individual soul and the fight for existence.Wonderful poem, voted 10.

No one likes pain of birth and death, Karma binds and nature decides these.... Food for thought, about our purpose in life. Thanks for sharing the philosophical poem.
Beautiful, this poem can be related with many things and people, wonderful and beautiful...i really enjoyed it dear Sir
A marvelous perception of life and death painted on the canvas of a beautiful poem. I totally agree with this write specially the lines, to wit: Only God is truth and we trust light. Without light, we cannot have journey. Beautiful lines from a masterly crafted poem.10
This is a brilliant work, Kumarmani. Your portrait of death can be taken literally and metaphorically. When we stand still we may believe that we are in control of destiny, that nothing moves until we opt to engage with our environments. The reality is that a silent, covert journey continues. We are merely passengers.
Having unknown and unseen journey, We proceed, not as per our will, No one likes pain of birth and death, Karma binds and nature decides these.....so nice..10
Yes! Death doesn't discriminate! And we don't have hands on things whatever happens. Karma adjoins with natural forces to decide the fate. The poet is a scholar and very rich in his thoughts. A well written poem. I enjoyed. ++++10.
