Visiting My Sister's Home
Travelling far again I have returned,
Time and fortune again of mine turned.
I have come to my sister's home to see,
I feel whole day her affection in thee.
I am visiting my sister's home in love,
Meenakshee, my sister is like pure dove.
I am visiting her far in my tender old age,
In old age I write a poem for her in page.
Sage she is now she repeats God's name,
Reading scriptures service she does claim.
Fame she has gained more receiving boon,
In her in-law's village my sister is moon.
Living with her son, daughter-in-law there
To her grand children she truly takes care.
She shares her knowledge to all about God,
Devotional she is to father she does nod.
She has offered me here delicious food,
Good my sister is, remains in nice mood.
My sister is affectionate she is very sweet
She sprinkles her love I am glad to meet.
