Watching The Sea Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Watching The Sea

Rating: 5.0

Let's watch the sea
Where the dolphins play
As the moon echoes its arrival
The sun is going down
And the glow of its remaining shine is
Upon yr face
The sadness of leaving is revealed
And you began to weep
While the full moon is upon us
My embrace is telling you to don't cry
For I'll be there
And you'll never be alone
As the memories of our time together
The dolphins will smile with joy
Knowing we'll be welcomed once again

As I'm reading this tender bittersweet poem, I'm looking at a glass figurine of a dolphin that's on my desk. Both the poem and the figurine make me yearn for their natural habitat. I've always wanted to swim with them! As always, beautiful poetry in motion, LeeAnn!
