No doubt, wound of words is more severe than that of a sword that is why it is said first weigh then speak.

words are the most powerful thing to a human being which can make wonders both good and bad. It is wisely stated that words must come from the mouth after taking innermost thoughts in such a n importance owing to this power and here the poet have made a good poem of words and I liked it.

Hi Ramesh, I've just read this poem today. I'm in agreement with the ideas expressed therein but wonder if in the first 5 stanzas the word these ought not be replaced with the word there. I've given the poem a rating of 8 since this question arose in my mind. You might enjoy my poem, On Knowingness, it too deals with words and relationships and knowingness. Cheers!

Words are so powerful! Discreet use of words is an art and a craft! It decides to a great extend, one's lot! How at times, we yearn in vain if we hadn't spoken some words! A powerful write! Kindly read my poem.. Nuggets of wisdom/ On Words.. if time permits!
