A Cursive Tale Of Existance Poem by Sameer Ahmed

A Cursive Tale Of Existance

Rating: 5.0

We come into being
And open our eyes
With a storyless book
As a prologue to the world
And cared
And nurtured
Then groomed in a pram
Till we walk on our feet.

On blank pages of life
A short script is written
By parents
With preface full of
Prayers, love and fortunes.

We are guided
Into the predatory populations
As a prodigy
To explore our qualities
And on paths prodded by elders
To follow the fate honestly.

We place our introduction
To the age of productivity
And carve out our essence
To write the chapters of
Struggle, experiments,
Happenings and efficiency.

We get maturity
With years bounded by time
And index full of spectrum
To lookout from
The insolent and immoral society.

We enjoy the life long practices
And cry
And laugh
And convince ourselves
With all golden memories.

We inscribe the concluding
Manuscript of life cursively
By ink enriched with
Elapsed moments
Thus, completing a tale
Merinated with experiences.

We outpour our knowledge
Of honour and dignity
On generations next to come
For we could be remembered
And die with a personality.

Veery enjoyable to read. Do I detect a bit of humor in that last line? I like a lot of things but will just refer to the first stanza: With a storyless book (A wonderful way to describe it.) As a prologue to the world And cared And nurtured Then groomed in a pram (I like the rhythm of the way this reads.)
