A Quiet Weekday Night - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Here on a quiet weekday night
I sit back now sweet one
after getting a few chores done
and taking a refreshing renewing shower so good.
I sit back now my love and in everything
that I do I dream of you.
I dream of holding you and giving
full reassurance in warmth
to the woman I so truly love.
We all deserve warm loving reassurance
at various times and right now
I would just hold you in my big arms.
Kiss you ever so sweetly and gently my dear,
just tell you I love you so much
and I'll always be here.
A quiet weekday night with my only one.
Oh my sweet lady let's make it so soon.
A quiet night just to snuggle up with you
to show you all of my admiration and love
as I regain my strength.
I love you sweet lady and you are the greatest
dream that could ever be had in real life
or in fantasy.
Kira my love you truly are everything
and a quiet one here with you
is everything I want and need.
A quiet weekday evening
and I don't ever care what we are doing
just as long as I'm here with the Angel
who keeps my heart in true love always beating.
A quiet weekday evening with my Kira
is what makes it worth it to know
I'll once again see her and have endless
quiet evenings where I just hold her
and talk to her feeling the power
of true endless love for and through
an Angel so good.
