The water falls into the pool.
The day is warm; the water's cool.
It's like no place you've ever seen;
to miss this sight you'd be a fool.
Kanchanburi has set the scene;
the water and the trees are green.
To call it lovely's only right;
to see it, you'd know what I mean.
The waterfalls seem almost white
and make the sun seem twice as bright.
They don't show things like this in school;
It truly is a gorgeous sight.
Sir. This is soothing. Peace. I loved it. And your words really is too picturesque. Loved it. Into my favourite.
I just noticed that I had two lines in stanza two ending with the same word, so I have revised it, but the revision may not show up for a while. Sometimes revisions take two or three days to show up on Poem Hunter.
Nothing like a picturesque scene to get those poetic juices flowing, a beautiful write!
Had to come back and read this again and feast my eyes on that marvelous picture!
Kim, I have been to Thailand many times, but, I have never visited the Erawan National Park. I will visit on my next trip. The road distance from Bangkok is 191.8 km, (119 miles) .5 stars
