Five Liner- Another Dawn Poem by Valsa George

Five Liner- Another Dawn

Rating: 5.0

In my eyes fall the golden rays
Of the sun about to begin his race
A cool breeze caresses my face
It ruffles my hair as a lover's touch
To another day of sun shine, I awake

I see two suns here - the celestial sun of the day and the sun of wakefulness. Then the lover comes - the breeze that ruffles the hair and then keeps company throughout the waking day as sunshine. Beautiful.
