Learn To Let Go - Poem by Marisol Espoir
When someone is gone, it feels like nothing has changed. Like a book it stays the same: just like life.
Then, you stop. And the whole world pauses for one brief moment. And in that moment you realize, they’re gone. Forever.
And it hits you hard, like when you fall on concrete.
Then, you cry. Because now you know life does change, and it will sometimes hurt. But it brings new life too. Just like winter, then spring. And you hope again.
