Lost Love - Poem by Håvard Reiersgård

All alone in a dark room
Outside where only terror and doom
Then you came running in
Held your hand softly at my chin

All my hate went away
I just wanted you to stay
Without you I’m certain to die
You know that it’s not a lie

A gentle kiss from your lips
While you held me at my hips
All the pain I had just faded away
It was not a word that I could say

Sitting alone in an empty room
nothing here to consume
you knew that I would die for you
and that’s exactly what I’m about to do
