Love Note 391 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
A very good afternoon to you
my sweet Angel dove and gorgeous Queen
and I hope you are having a wonderful day
and feeling all of the loving warmth
with sweet kisses and huge hugs
I send your way to give you deep
reassurance and peace that I am still here
and will not go away.
I love you sweet lady and want
to be with you now just talking
and snuggling as we somehow pass the day.
We would find fun and interesting
things to keep us busy and challenge our minds.
I just wish it were now
on a tired and somewhat somber day.
I am feeling so lost and partly
empty without you my other half.
For the last hour I've just
been getting lost in my music
and that always lifts my mood at least a bit
and the Pet Shop Boys released
their first song from their
new album called Super to be released
in the beginning of April.
So a few positives here and there.
The thing though that makes me
the happiest is that I was able to
write you that piece I wanted to
so I could express so very much
that I think and I feel.
All the wonderful things I see,
know, feel, and have experienced with you
and I hope so very much that
it has touched you and helped.
I love you so deeply my sweet lady and Angel
and I will stand with you forever.
As the rest of this day goes
it is aimless at large
just trying to stay occupied and busy.
I will be writing for you though
my darling one and you know it.
I truly am always trying to find
the best ideas in the best ways that I can
because you truly deserve the
very best my sweet Queen.
You are a true treasure and
everything to me.
So feel all of my love and all
of my prayers as I hold you near.
I am right here my sweet lady
if you are in need or want anything.
I will always drop everyone and everything
to be right there at hand for you.
I just want to make you so proud and happy.
God bless you my darling
and feel peace in the strength I am sending
and never forget that I am only your Michael.
