They take me where
I wanna go
whether fast
or plodding slow
So short, so wide
six toes seem fair
tho' five each fated
still, people stare
I love my feet
fat tho' they be
I'm quite attached
to them you see
I take them here...
I take them there...
Or rather more,
they take me where
ever it is I
wish to travel
on roads of pitch,
of dust and gravel
When they hurt I
baby them well
Rare is the day
when e'er they smell
Sweet and honest
my sausage toes,
How I love them
fair like the rose
Now to bed I
put these cuties
snuggled up in
fuzzy booties
Goodnight good friends
Sleep well my dears
A new day dawns
tomorrow - Cheers

Cute one! I tried to think of some funny puns for you, but am sadly defeated. Maybe you could get a job in French vineyard as a grape crusher. -chuck
Feet are appendages that we tend to not think about very much, and never pamper very much, but of course we should. I enjoyed this read. It's amazing what you can write about concerning feet! . I wrote a poem called My Shoes, which you might like to peruse if you have the time, it's a fun one. Love Ernestine XXX
This is adorable, Esther. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Warmest regards, CJ
Cute, jolly, and funny, with a clear message about self-love and self-acceptance (I think!) . A lovely read. Warm regards, Gina.
This is a delightful poem, Esther - it's original, it's real, it's hysterical! Very well done, a pleasure to read. Love, CJ
I take them here... I take them there... Or rather more, they take me where (now..loved those lines..i was like...the feet take us everywhere not us..*wink*) what a poem...and about your feet....fantastic!
To pen a poem about your feet Is really an amazing feat But oh the truth do really tell Like anyone, they often smell And wearing footwear in your bed Must mystify your probing tread When hubby searches for some footsy To only find a hairy tootsy! Take care :) Jack
Yes darling very nice, one step back in amazement lol's Love dave xxx

Right now I'm into finding very wide houseshoes, because my youngest daughter is 8 months pregnant, and her feet are 'out of control.' I call mine shoe boxes, because they are just about as wide as they are long! Like you, tho, they get me where I need to go, and what more could we ask of them? ? Very funny!
